INTRODUCING CRLORD AND HIS AMAZING, BLESSED AND GOD ORDAINED FAMILY.
C R Lord is the husband of a very godly woman who loves the Lord, Jesus Christ and who is an amazing, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she meets and words cannot express what a magnificent blessing she is. Their marriage took place on January 7, 1979 and has proved to be a stable marriage with Jesus Christ at the center for over 46 years as of January 7, 2025..
In addition, CR Lord is the father of seven very special children ages 33 to 43 and all of them are solid in their own right and reliable, hard working men and women and forever in communication with one another and their parents. Four are men and three are women. Of seven children five are married (with the most recent one on July 6, 2024), and four of the married couples have produced sixteen grandchildren who have proven to be very great blessings to CR and his wife. Nine of the grandchildren are boys and seven are girls. All are treasures from our gracious, Loving Heavenly Father. We expect that our newlywed son and his wife will follow the example of their brothers and sisters and we'll be blessed with grandchildren to enjoy in our waning years. For the record, CR will soon be 82 and his wife is 71. Below is a Christmas family get together celebrating our wonderful heritage from the Lord.
From my wife Beverly and I God has multiplied us and, with spouses, we number 30 people.
Prior to becoming a Christian I was an unsavory character who some people thought would never amount to anything. As you can see above, that kind of thinking was what I would call "stinking thinking." Far too many people give up on their family and/or loved ones because they don't understand the power of God working to bring about positive change. For Beverly and Rick that was the one factor, above all others that radically changed them both. For that we cannot take any credit. We strongly believe and affirm that apart from the transformative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God we could have been victims of our own sinfulness and of far less benefit to others. Instead God has transformed us both and brought us together to bring many blessings to many people through our ever expanding family, our life experiences, our ministry to others, CR Lord's writing and, above all through God's working in and through us. We can truly love all who we come in contact with because God put that capability in us by his Spirit.
This is an amazing story with many twists and turns that many people might easily identify with. The story has no beginning because the first eight years are lost to memory.
My father was an absentee for the most part while still managing to create five of us with my mom who virtually raised five of by herself as a cook, later had a boy who had to be given up for adoption, and then she remarried and had a baby girl but that marriage ended in divorce because of her second husband getting arrested for hitting her. She rarely ever had anything to be happy about, but she was what I would call a pioneer woman and was tough through many life's trials that might have caused others to give up .
When I was eight years of age my father decided he didn't want me or my older brother, who was crippled, and took us from Pennsylvania to Michigan without telling our mother. I can't imagine what she must have went through not knowing where her children were. My father took us to a house and left us with people who didn't want us and left. He never returned. There we were; one 8 year old and one 9 year old boy abandoned far from home by our father. This is just the beginning of what is a compelling story as CR graduated high school, entered the military, got honorably discharged and got caught up in the culture of dealing and using drugs to finally end up in jail. THAT WAS THE GREATEST THING THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT THAT TIME. That was the blessing that led CR to eventually become a man of God ministering across the United States and eventually being blessed abundantly as the rest of the life story tells. You won't want to miss out on an adventure like the one CR took and is still thankful for.
